Industrial Water Solutions (IWS) is a well-established company with 30 years of experience, and we have absolutely no plans to stop now. On the contrary. We are currently looking for a quality-conscious operator for industrial waste water.

IWS are specialists in the treatment of industrial waste water, and we operate 2 reception and treatment plants in Denmark and Norway. We have many years of experience with biological water purification, and our plant in Stigsnæs is the largest commercial biological water purification plant in the Nordics.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for a proactive, responsible and committed operator for the treatment plant in Stigsnæs. You will become part of a team of 18 employees, of which 5 are operators. The position comes with a wide range of traditional operator tasks, but you also get the opportunity to handle tasks that have the character of specialist knowledge tasks. You must be able to navigate a busy environment where structure and collaboration are an important part of your everyday life.

Your education is not essential, but we imagine that you are a trained waste water operator, industrial operator or process operator. But it can also be you, have an education as a blacksmith, mechanic or electrician. On the other hand, it will be a big plus if you have knowledge of and preferably experience with maintenance and repair of pumps, machines, etc.

You must agree to participate in a shift arrangement in the long term, where the working hours are from 07.00 to 15.00 – and then you are on call the rest of the time around the clock. The on-call arrangement is distributed between 5 operators We would therefore like you to live within a maximum of ½ hour’s drive from the facility, and it is a requirement that you have a driving license for category B (ordinary car).

Tasks, such as the job i.a. includes

  • Daily monitoring and adjustment of the process plant
  • Operation of sludge dewatering, heavy metal precipitation, slop plant, etc.
  • Calibration and maintenance of online meters
  • Due maintenance on the facility
  • Ad hoc tasks.

We would therefore like you to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with the above tasks from a similar position, just as it is important that you speak and write Danish correctly.
